I'm New
New to Bible Baptist? We’re thrilled! Let’s get to know each other.
New to Bible Baptist?
You might be wondering, what’s it really like at Bible Baptist? Simply put, our focus is on learning more about God, on how we can have a relationship with our Savior and grow in Him, on loving and serving others, and on fulfilling the Great Commission in Hudson and across the world. As part of that heart for missions, we support over 35 missionary families in over 22 countries and frequently take time in our services to hear more about what God is doing in their lives and ministries, as well as pray for their needs.
No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have about God and the Christian faith, our church is a place where you’ll find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.

What can I expect?
How long is a church service, and what will happen?
On average, a church service at Bible Baptist on Sunday is about 80 minutes in length.
Sunday services begin with Pastor Stertz welcoming everyone and leading the congregation in prayer for the service. This is followed by announcements and a time for members to give to the church. After this, our song leader will come and lead the congregation in some hymns along with the scripture reading for the message. After some special music, we will dismiss the children to Sunday School and Pastor will begin his sermon.
On average, a Wednesday Night Prayer service is about 80 minutes in length.
You can drop your kids off at the lower level of the church (stairs leading to the lower level are to the right of the lobby entrance), for Kids4Truth, our children’s program. Your kids will have a blast singing, learning about God, and playing games. We do occasionally offer snacks, so please let one of our friendly volunteers know if your child has any allergies. If you would like, you are always welcome to stay with your child.
Teens and adults will meet in the main auditorium for a hymn as well as a time of reading of missionary letters and of asking for prayer requests. After that, the youth group will follow our youth leader downstairs for a time of prayer and practical teaching on living in Christ each day. Adults will stay in the auditorium for a great time of expository teaching, after which they will break up into small groups to pray for missionaries and each other
What is the culture like at Bible Baptist?
Our church culture is friendly and relaxed, but passionate about our Savior Jesus Christ. Come expecting to be welcomed, to make new friends, and to be challenged and encouraged in your faith and daily walk with God!
Our desire in everything we do is to give honor to the glorious God we are privileged to serve!
What about my kids?
At Bible Baptist, children are a priority. We believe that children should be taught the truth of God’s Word in a fun and engaging way that helps them understand what God says, and we desire to help kids realize God’s everlasting and boundless love for them, and of their own need for Jesus.
Our Kids4Truth program is a good example of our heart for reaching kids. Over a four year period, we go through an overview of systematic theology tailored to help them understand what the Bible says about life in Christ, God’s nature, salvation, and applying Scripture to their lives!
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages, from preschool to adults on Sundays at 9:30 AM, and there is a Children’s Church service for preschool to third grade on the lower level of the church during our Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:30 AM. Wednesday Nights at 7:00 PM is when our children’s program, Kids4Truth, meets on the lower level of the church.
